The EPL, Under the Absolute Direction of the PCP, Pledges to Continue Combating Together and United with the People¹

Revolutionary greetings, as has been witnessed, the struggle of the Peruvian people has increased in quantity and quality, becoming more intense and forceful, a lesson in the very heat of the class struggle, the increase is gradual, the People’s War and the PCP have stamped in these 38 years of combative experience and experience as the vanguard of the World Proletarian Revolution, today the need and demand in Peru is greater, it commits us to the peasantry and the broad masses of the neighborhoods and slums, to the deep and profound masses, who are the arena of struggle against the old Peruvian State, a paper tiger rotten to the core, its genocidal armed forces, who are experts in defeat, and its repressive police forces, which are the support of its old order of exploitation and oppression.

GENOCIDAL ARMED FORCES THAT HAVE NEVER DEFEATED ANYONE: “Brave to kill and cowards to die”, they revel in the bloodshed of the finest children of the people and unarmed populace, a fighting and combative people who strive to defend their rights and achieve victories, taking victories from death, in response to the outcry, demand, and necessitate the EPL.

The EPL, under the absolute direction of the PCP, joins and expresses solidarity with these struggles of the Peruvian people. It commits to continue fighting together and united with the people, defeating the class enemy, becoming a true and new people’s army, always organized and led by the PCP, which is today in the task of the General Reorganization of the Party, guided by the all-powerful Marxism-Leninism-Maoism, Gonzalo Thought, and under the Great Leadership of Chairman Gonzalo.

A resounding and impactful AGRARIAN STRIKE LASTING OVER 72 HOURS: the peasants are defending their potato production and demanding a declaration of agricultural emergency, forgiveness of bank debts from loans, and a halt to the import of pre-cooked potatoes from other countries, etc. Since January 30th, the struggle began first in Huánuco and Huancavelica; on the 31st, in Junin, Apurimac, Ayacucho, Pasco, and Arequipa. As stated by other reactionary press spokespersons and the reactionary Congress, “more than 9 regions are affected, impacting all Peruvians, etc.”, we must denounce the 3 deaths and various arrests of peasants. The fruit peasants have also joined the struggle.

To denounce that this rotten system, in its desperation, resorts to what it does best: blackmail, “dialogue” and repression and genocide to try to suffocate and extinguish the intense and incessant struggle of the peasantry, A sector of pacifist peasant proprietors and followers of the outdated system have dialogued but the majority did not comply, like those of the Carrera Central in the center of the country, Junin, Pasco, Huánuco, Huancavelica, Ayacucho and Andahuylas, on the contrary, they took and blocked the roads to the airport from the beginning of the Agrarian Strike, where they have stopped the free transit of trucks, where they have stopped the free transit of land and air transport, they had confrontations with the genocidal hordes of the police, the masses have burned vehicles, front tractors and took police station, a great development of the struggle and a better organization, now they want to achieve their platform and not to fall into dialogue and crude pacifism, it is the people in struggle that leave great lessons and crush the black positions of “peace agreements” and regional and general elections like those of Movadef, Fuddep, LOL,² Fenatep, and Frente Amplio, and so on.
