The International Communist League calls upon communists and revolutionaries of all countries to participate in the campaign to celebrate the 130th anniversary of the birth of Chairman Mao. The upcoming 26th of December “the Great Helmsman” would have turned 130 years old and we want this anniversary to be a remarkable and resounding celebration of his immortal theoretical and practical work. Chairman Mao developed the ideology of the international proletariat to a new, third and higher stage, Maoism, hence we consider it to be of the foremost importance that all over the world the banner of Marxism-Leninism-Maoism is raised high as the most powerful of weapons in the relentless struggle of the international proletariat and the oppressed peoples of the world against imperialism, revisionism and world reaction.
The ideology of the international proletariat arose in the midst of the class-struggle as Marxism, became Marxism-Leninism and later Marxism-Leninism-Maoism, three stages in the dialectical process of its development which today, more than 175 years after the establishment of the Communist Manifesto, continues in the struggle of our class and the oppressed peoples, in the sharp and fruitful two-line-struggle in the Communist Parties – and International Communist Movement in general – to solve the new problems that the revolutions in every country and the World Proletarian Revolution faces. The proletarian movement has forged its great leaders Marx, Engels, Lenin, Stalin, and Chairman Mao and produced three great leaps, represented primarily by Marx, Lenin and Mao Tse-tung, who have armed us with the invincible Marxism-Leninism-Maoism of today.
The struggle for the recognition of Maoism in the International Communist Movement (ICM) have advanced tremendously since the Communist Party of Peru under the leadership of Chairman Gonzalo initiated it in the beginning of the 1980’s, with important milestones such as the Revolutionary Internationalist Movement adopting it in 1993 and later all the Parties who today leads People’s Wars, and without doubt, with great joy, we can state that it today have reached hegemony in the ICM. Still a lot of struggle is needed, on the one hand to unify us fully in the definition of Maoism but also to win those parts of the ICM that have not reached the understanding that being Marxist today demands you to be Marxist-Leninist-Maoist. In this we should not only concern ourselves with the Parties and Organizations that in the present are active parts of the ICM, but attend the needs of the millions and millions of communist and revolutionaries in those parts of the world where such Parties and Organizations do not exists or are very weak, such as China, for support in the ideological, political and organizational struggle for the reconstitution of their Communist Parties under the banner of Maoism.
All over the world we must promote the vivid study of the theoretical and practical work of Chairman Mao, who has developed Marxism-Leninism in all its integral parts: Marxist Political Economy, Marxist Philosophy, and Scientific Socialism.
Chairman Mao developed the Marxist Theory on the State, by establishing that in all the oppressed countries the bourgeois revolution of a new type under the leadership of the proletariat, the democratic revolution inside the era of imperialism and the proletarian revolution, must be carried out and that once the democratic revolution is culminated, with the seizure of Power in the whole country, the socialist revolution must be initiated without any interruption with the establishment of the People’s Republic – these developments of our ideology must be better understood. We must also deepen our understanding of such decisive thesis as the one about Bureaucratic Capitalism, the capitalism born late that imperialism unfolds in the oppressed countries. The deeper study of the thesis on Bureaucratic Capitalism will most definitely be very instrumental in over-coming misunderstandings and wrong conceptions that do not comprehend how semi-feudal relations of exploitation still prevail in the oppressed nations and thus confuse appearance with essence and ends up negating the semi-colonial subjugation – which, at the end of the day, is to negate the existence of imperialism.
We must deepen our study on Chairman Mao’s development of the understanding of the classes, the construction of the Party and the three instruments of the revolution, how he established revolutionary violence as a universal law without exception, how he developed the theory on the continuation of class-struggle in Socialism, the process of restoration and counter-restoration necessary for the proletariat to be able to hold on definitively to the Power with the dictatorship of the proletariat, with the grandiose solution of the most far reaching importance in perspective, the Great Proletarian Cultural Revolution as the continuation of the socialist revolution under the dictatorship of the proletariat.
The issue we must give the most attention to in our studies of the theoretical work of Chairman Mao is the development he brought forward in Marxist Philosophy, where he developed the understanding of the very core of dialectics and defined the Law of Contradiction as the sole fundamental law. We must more and better grasp his development of the Marxist theory of knowledge and learn from how he brilliantly applied the Law of Contradiction in politics and brought philosophy to the masses following and developing the shining examples of the other classics of Marxism.
As good students of the theoretical and practical work of Chairman Mao we must redouble our efforts to boldly spread his teachings, our Marxist-Leninist-Maoist ideology, all over the world. Our ideological counter-offensive must be unleashed with ever more force to defeat the ideological offensive of the imperialists, the revisionists and all their reactionary lackeys. The proletarian revolutionary truth of Maoism must burn away the decadent, parasitic and metaphysical imperialist ideology that infects the minds of the Peoples and sows pessimism, despair and class and national capitulation. Marxism-Leninism-Maoism represent the new, the vigorous and enable us to find the so strongly needed answers to all the burning questions of our time. We must develop and potentiate our means of Agitation and Propaganda so to reach the millions and millions who thirst for this guide to action. To diffuse Maoism is to bring light in the darkness, is to spread confidence in the invincibility of our enterprise, the greatest of all causes, the historical mission of the international proletariat, to establish Communism and so emancipate humankind from all kind of exploitation and oppression.
This demands a merciless close quarter struggle against revisionism and opportunism of all shades. To combat the poisonous weeds of the revisionist and capitulationist Right Opportunist Line in Peru, the class and national capitulation line of Prachanda and the imperialist chauvinist line of Avakian, remains indispensable. Still it is necessary to develop much more extensive the struggle against the revisionism of the Chinese social-imperialists, who with the full power of their State promotes “Xi Jinping Thought” all over the world. The bastard of Teng who today acts like the Emperor of China and his court of Mandarin rats unfolds a massive ideological offensive in China, combined with unchained fascist repression, to fight the endeavor of the Chinese communists in formation to reconstitute the Party of Chairman Mao, the glorious Communist Party of China. This revisionist campaign will not weaken but increase in intensity since the revisionists feel the ground under their feet trembling by the increasing struggle of the proletariat and people of China, who more and more get aware of the need to retake the road of the People’s War for the counter-restoration and to reestablish the dictatorship of the proletariat. The communists of the world, the Marxist-Leninist-Maoists, can not ignore this fact and must boldly rush to battle and defeat the revisionist plot.
All of this can only be done if we apply Maoism creatively to the concrete conditions of every revolution, which must be understood as inseparable from the whole process of the proletarian world revolution and serve its development. To apply Marxism-Leninism-Maoism means to solve the problems facing the communists who struggle for the reconstitution of their Parties, taking into account the particular moment and conditions for this in every given country. It means hammering out, in the midst of the class-struggle and the two-line-struggle, correct ideological, organizational and military lines for the revolution, be it democratic or socialist in character, that allow the reconstitution of the Communist Party and the initiation of the revolutionary war as soon as possible. Applying Maoism creatively is what is needed to advance the ongoing People’s Wars to new heights, solving the new problems that every revolutionary process inevitably encounters on its road to the nation-wide Conquest of Power.
Chairman Mao taught us that nothing is hard in this world, if we dare to scale the heights, let us develop the campaign to celebrate the 130th anniversary of his birth in this spirit. The member Parties and Organizations of the International Communist League will develop it in all countries where we are active and make efforts to spread it to as many other places as possible. We invite all Marxist-Leninist-Maoist Parties and Organizations to join us and to take up the common tasks that we have outlined here. Let us with audacity step up our efforts to place Maoism as the sole command and guide of the World Proletarian Revolution!
Long live the 130th anniversary of the birth of Chairman Mao!
