Definitely, there are class and people’s fighters who set a different rhythm in the work to advance the democratic revolution of a new type in the country.
Comrade Joselo, despite having certain physical limitations, gave everything for the party and the revolution. A simple man, son of the deepest entrails of the people, where pain, anguish, and poverty become revolutionary ferment for those who dare to fight and raise the banners of the class and the people.
With his hands full of fire, his voice of thunder, and his indomitable rebelliousness, he decisively contributed to seal a process of rupture with the incorrect ideological line. Convicted of Marxism-Leninism-Maoism, Gonzalo Thought, he argued his revolutionary life between the work of the workers, peasants, and his always willingness to promote, in practice, the militarization of the party and to advance revolutionary violence as a transversal line in the task of constructing the instruments for the revolution.
The historical conditions in which comrade Joselo contributed to the forging of the Party were difficult, decisive. They occurred precisely at a time when the complexities, the antagonisms, and the ideological struggle demanded great firmness, dedication, and courage.
Today, as yesterday, we face new challenges, new conditions, and the revolution demands combatants of that forge, of that mettle. The present combatants have a “very high bar” to surpass; they have a sufficiently solid, great example to understand that to be a communist and, above all, a militant of the class and the people, demands sacrifice, dedication, renunciation, to be ready for “death by a thousand cuts”; to believe in the need “to steel the soul, to be strong, vigorous, not to fear and to be sure of victory”.
It is not enough to commit oneself to the revolution in dribs and drabs nor to subordinate one’s personal life to the militant life; it is urgent to generously give and expose our lives to the service of the world proletarian revolution.
Comrade Joselo, old mole, on the anniversary of his departure, we vehemently maintain that he lives in the heart and in the struggles of the class and the oppressed peoples of the world.
