Everything is illusory except power!
The communists of Ecuador and the world commemorate on December 26 another anniversary of the birth of Chairman Mao (1893-1976).
Definitely the best tribute we can pay to his memory and his historic legacy is evidenced in the strengthening of the People’s War in India, Turkey, Philippines, and Peru, as well as the important advances that the international proletariat is undertaking to build Communist Parties and put them at the service of the World Proletarian Revolution.
But in addition to the achievements reached up to now and which inevitably go on the road to victory, we must also highlight the importance for the class and its allies of the decisive and forceful struggle undertaken by the International Communist Movement against the new expressions of revisionism, manifested in Prachanda and his clique who tried to consolidate bourgeois ideological bases within the proletarian ranks vainly trying to castrate the Marxist essence of Maoism as the third and higher stage. Evidently the timely intervention of the international proletariat armed with the correct ideological line once again Marxism-Leninism-Maoism arose sweeping and victorious, crushing revisionism and taking new strength to continue to stand as the trembling banner of the proletariat and pariahs of the world.
Already in his time Chairman Gonzalo from Peru said it: to be Marxist today is to be Marxist-Leninist-Maoist, principally Maoist, and that is a reality that beyond enunciating it, it must be wielded and applied in the inescapable need to build a Communist Party of a New Type, Front, and People’s Army; materialization of the New-Democratic Revolution, a task that commits the democratic Revolution of a New Type led by the proletariat and directed to sweep away imperialism, bureaucrat-capitalism, and semi-feudalism in the uninterrupted transition to socialism. In the application and development of the Military Line of the proletariat: People’s War, in the correct analysis of all the social and natural phenomena considering the law of contradiction as the fundamental of dialectics as well as directing all the ideological effort and class forcefulness against the main danger of the revolution: revisionism.
On the anniversary of Chairman Mao’s birthday, our Party reaffirms its communist conviction and affiliation, that is to say, Marxist-Leninist-Maoist at the service of the International Proletarian Revolution.
