Proletarians and oppressed peoples of the world; unite!
The strategy of imperialism, Zionism, and reaction to assassinate leaders and great leaders of revolutionary organizations or popular fighters linked to national liberation and anti-imperialist struggles is of long standing. Euphemistically they call it “neutralizing the centers of gravity”; that is to say, eliminations or selective crimes that seek to dismantle the organizations.
The recent assassination of the leader of Hezbollah: Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, in addition to being considered a tactical action, has a strategic connotation for imperialism, which seeks to generate a leadership vacuum and unbalance the Lebanese and Palestinian resistance in the region. It also seeks to send a direct message to all the organizations that oppose the criminal expansion of Israel and the repositioning of the U.S. in Asia.
The death of Hassan Nasrallah also has another component: we must remember the stoic resistance of the Lebanese people to the Israeli invasion in 2006, Harb Tammūz, where, for the first time since the creation of the Zionist State of Israel, it suffered a resounding and crushing defeat at the hands of Hezbollah and the Lebanese people. Drunk with triumph, Israel could not digest the fact that a small country, with no military elements other than the Lebanese people’s conviction to struggle, had defeated it resoundingly. The “military pride” boasted by Zionism — which would be nothing without the technological, economic, and operational support of Yankee imperialism — was ridiculed as it became evident what Chairman Mao said: they are nothing more than “paper tigers”. This defeat would not be forgotten by Netanyahu and their butchers.
However, as has happened in other oppressed countries of the world, the assassination of the leaders of the revolution and the anti-imperialist struggle causes an uproar, but does not prevent these just processes from stopping; on the contrary, it inflames the masses, pushing them with greater determination to combat, crush, and expel the invaders, until they are reduced to shame and collective panic.
That Israel has murdered more than 40,000 people in Palestine so far not only saddens us, but also strengthens our commitment to those people. It is a difficult number of lives to assimilate, but if that sacrifice is necessary — unfortunately — to defeat imperialism and Zionism, the oppressed peoples of the world are ready to offer whatever blood is necessary to achieve our goals. The U.S. and Israel must know and accept that they too will have to pay the corresponding price for their cruelty. That is inevitable.
It is very likely that the same thing will happen in Lebanon, a scenario where Zionism will try to impose the greatest possible cruelty. However, it will not dare to fight inch by inch for the territory it intends to occupy. The military technology at their disposal, as well as their “through the walls” or “reverse geometry” strategies, will be of little or no use to them. It is written, and history confirms it: where there are masses and a people’s war develops, triumph is assured. Just wars will inevitably prevail over unjust ones. In this sense, Palestine and Lebanon are destined to win, and we are certain that, sooner or later, imperialism and Zionism will be crushed. They will be crushed!
The proletariat and the people of Ecuador express their solidarity with the fighters of the resistance and the Lebanese people in the face of the assassination of their leader: Seyed Hassan Nasrallah. We are convinced that his legacy will be present in the imminent victory of the Lebanese people against the criminal, invader, and abject Zionism.
